It's never a good thing when a child needs glasses, and I have to admit I was really upset when we found out that Christopher needed them. But there have been a few positive outcomes from this. First of all he can see much better now that he has them and that is a good thing. Hailey seems to be more confident in having glasses now that she is not the only one in the family wearing them everyday. She has also been so good about helping him with them. So in a way it has built her self esteem. So if your child has to have glasses there are always positives if you look for them.
